“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it…”
One loves to agree with Paulo Coelho here.
Life is a vicious ‘wish’ circle. With Life you just cant have enough. Each passing day has so much more to offer. So much more to desire. After all in life a wish, a dream or a desire is something that motivates us to achieve what we want and makes us happy.
But its often a rare sight to see one wishing for the happiness of others. How far can you go while wishing for someone else; to see their dreams and desires come true?
Prayers bring blessings, tranquility and generosity. The belief in God, inspires us to deeply feel the pain and sufferings of others. Faith inculcates the rarest of rare emotions in all of us. It makes us go that extra mile to do something for the ones who deserve our love and sympathy.
Keeping in mind the same, i wish for not only someone’s health and happiness but also for his Life.
My nephew, Tayyab Akhtar, is a thelesmatic patient by birth. From the age of four Tayyab, has been on blood support twice a month or even more if need be. Now aged seventeen, Tayyab is grossly underweight, with high iron content and constant attacks of jaundice from time to time. But what touches my heart deeply is his zest for life.
Just like any other teenaged boy, Tayyab is a happy go lucky person, who wants to do so much more in life. His dreams and ambitions waver from buying a bike for himself, to wearing the lastest trendy clothes.
Often he stands up and shakes a leg on a catchy number and teaches us a new meaning of life. From Spiderman to Salman Khan, his favorites list is endless. He loves eating out and going to movies just like any other boy his age. But what makes him different from them is the fear he constantly has in his heart. The fear which he can see in his family’s eyes too. The fear that his life has no future.
Even though he cant speak, Tayyab expresses so much with his gestures and eyes that one cant help getting affected by his beautiful spirit and loving soul. His simple hug and handshake says more thatn any words can express. He is a very emotional and affectionate person. Every Ramadaan, I see him praying with extra efforts, because somehow he also belives that his prayer for life will only be answered in his holy month.
As they say that powerful spirit turns many a prayers into blessings. I sincere want to gift Tayyab my wishes for his Life. Looking at his zeal for living, my heart pours out to him. I want to give him whatever he wishes to have. And above all I want to ensure that he gets the best of treatment whenever he needs it. From expert medical advice to medicines to blood, everything should be easily available for him, whenever he needs it.
To conclude I can only say that humans like Tayyab, are a gift from God to the entire mankind, because they are not only special in their own way, but are also blessed to understand the value and importance of life, which we normal beings fail to comprehend.
My heartiest wishes, prayers and blessings are for Tayyab.…Ameen!
